CLEARING THE BARREL
Rotate the Speed Control Knob counter clockwise until the Auger stops.
Open the Clamp Lock and raise the Barrel Assembly so the Inlet is out
of the chocolate in the Tempering Bowl.
Move the Direction Switch on the Power Supply to “reverse”, and restart
the motor by rotating the Speed Control Knob. Residual Chocolate will
be returned to the Tempering Bowl.
CLEANING
Unplug the Power Supply from the Motor Assembly and lift the
Open the Clamp, remove the Barrel and Auger, and move these to the
cleaning area.
Remove the Auger from the Barrel.
Grip the Barrel and unscrew the Inlet and Discharge by rotating them
Clean the Barrel, Inlet and Discharge with a stiff brush, and screw
back together when dry. Note: Barrel, Inlet, and Discharge are not
dishwasher safe. Cleaning these parts in a dishwasher will warp
them and void your warranty.
IMPORTANT: Components must be thoroughly dry before
reuse to prevent contamination of the chocolate.
