Appendix 6 Mixer Measurement

Converter model

of the mixer in the model dialog box. If the
LO and LO2 are not set, one external source can be used to provide the fixed LO; otherwise, the port must be
configured.
Fraction multiplier:
The (numerator/denominator) combination is a decimal and multiplied by the input and output
frequency. The default coefficient of the numerator/denominator of the multiplication base is 1, and the
adjustable range is 1 to 10. The negative is not allowed. If the multiplication coefficient changes, the
[Output
frequency range]
in the
[Frequency setting]
box will change accordingly. With the fraction multiplier, the
receiver frequency can be tuned to the harmonics of the mixer.
6.3 Calibration of Scalar Mixer Measurement
Perform calibration after mixer measurement setting. Menu path:
[Cal] > [Calibration...]
. Complete all
calibrations according to the guide.

a) Edit mixer
: click it to modify the mixer settings.
b) Calibrate the input and output end with the power meter (do not use the through type calibration mode).
If the through type calibration mode is unavailable, tick this option. In this case, the input and output end can be
calibrated with the power meter in the subsequent calibration.
c)Waveguide/In-fixer/On-wafer Setup
: the default mode is gray and unavailable.
2) Select the DUT connection type and calibration kit.
