• Do not perform any cleaning or sanitising operations on the breast pump while
it is operating, when it is powered by alkaline batteries (not supplied) or when
it is connected to the mains through its mains adaptor. Cleaning and sanitising
operations must be carried out in accordance with these instructions for use.
• Before each use, check that the membrane is not damaged: it must never be torn
or cut. If it is torn or cut, do not use the appliance.
• Any cleaning and sanitising to be performed by the user must not be carried out
by children and/or people with reduced mental faculties or lacking experience
or the required knowledge.
• Do not wet the appliance or its mains adaptor or put it into water or other liquids
and never place it under running water. If any liquid has entered the appliance or
the mains adaptor, contact our qualified technical personnel before further use.
• If the appliance, the mains adaptor or its plug show any sign of damage, they
must not be used. If the appliance or the mains adaptor show signs of damage,
contact our qualified technical personnel before further use.
• The cable connecting the mains adaptor to the motor unit cannot be replaced
and therefore, if damaged, the mains adaptor must no longer be used.
• Warning, never use a mains adaptor of a type different from that supplied by
Artsana S.p.A. with the appliance (model LXCP12A-006100DEH, manufactured
by: Shenzhen Longxc Power Supply Co. , LTD), since doing so would make the
appliance non-compliant with the applicable specific technical standards, im-
pairing its safety and integrity. Contact our qualified personnel in the event of
failure of the mains adaptor.
• Do not attempt to open or repair the appliance of the mains adaptor when faulty
or damaged. Any repair/service carried out directly by the user may lead to se-
vere risks to her or to any third party's safety as well as irreparably damaging the
appliance and entails immediate termination of the warranty.
• If the packaging appears to be damaged, check the state of all the components
and parts of the appliance. If the mains adaptor and the motor unit proved to be
undamaged, wash all the components of the kit following the instructions given
in the paragraph “CLEANING” as a precaution.
• Before use, remove and dispose of all plastic bags and packaging materials and
keep them out of reach of children; they may be a source of danger.
• Make sure the unit is placed on a level, stable surface, away from cradles and
cots, when used in order to prevent spills or falls.
• Do not place the appliance on delicate surfaces or surfaces that may be sensitive to
humidity and heat.
• Do not use the appliance while taking a bath or shower, or when in a damp
place, or close to bath-tubs, sinks, washbasins, or in any other situation in which
there are liquids that may come into contact with the appliance.
• Make sure that, when in use, the kit is not too from the engine body so that the
latter does not fall.
• When using any electrical appliance, it is necessary to follow a few basic safety
rules:
- Never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
- Keep the appliance and the mains adaptor away from heat sources.
