INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING

1.

        WARNING!   Before performing any inspection, maintenance, or cleaning
procedures, make sure the Power Switch (2) is in its “OFF” position.   Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the equipment acciden-
tally.

2.

Before each use:  Inspect the general condition of the Power System.  Check for
misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, leaking Bat-
tery, damaged electrical cables, and any other condition that may affect its safe
operation.  If a problem occurs, have the problem corrected before further use.
Do not use damaged equipment.

3.

To replace the 3 VDC, 6 VDC, 9 VDC Output Fuse (8):  The 

type of Fuse is 1

AMP, Glass.  To replace, unscrew and remove the Fuse Cap.  Then, remove the
old Fuse.  Install a new Fuse, and replace the Fuse Cap.  (See Figure A.)

4.

To replace the 12 VDC Output Fuse (11):  The 

type of Fuse is 10 AMP, Push-

In, Plastic.  To replace, pull the old Fuse out of its receptacle, and insert a new
Fuse in its receptacle.  (See Figure A.)

5.

To replace the 12 VDC Cigarette Lighter Plug Fuse (13):  The

 type of Fuse is

5 AMP, Glass.  To replace, unscrew and remove the Cap (14).  Then, remove the
old Fuse.  Install a new Fuse, and replace the Cap.  (See Figure A.)

manual are only to be attempted by a qualified service technician.
