Use the Knobs (3) and Screws (2) to 

1. 

fasten the Upper Handle (1) to the 

Middle Handle (4).
Use the Knobs and Screws to fasten 

2. 

the Middle Handle to the Lower 

Handle (5).
Thread the bottom of the Rocker 

3. 

Shaft (58) into the top of the Hood 

(54).
Use the Cotter Pins (61) to fasten the 

4. 

Direction Lever (63) to the top of the 

Rocker Shaft.
Align the mounting holes on the 

5. 

Direction Lever with the mounting 

holes of the Middle Handle.  Fasten 

together using the Screws (66) and 

Nuts (67).

waRning:

 Do not use the Snow Thrower 

on rocky or gravel surfaces. Such 

materials can be drawn up into the 

machine, damage the machine and/

or cause injury to bystanders or 

property damage when ejected.

Set up

The Snow Thrower is equipped with 

1. 

a Safety Switch (77).  To activate 

Switch, insert one finger into Switch’s 

opening and pull the Switch out (or 

away from you), grasping it along 

with the Upper Handle.
Push the Switch back to activate the 

2. 

Snow Thrower and hold it against the 

Upper Handle to keep Snow Thrower 

activated.
To turn off Snow Thrower, release the 

3. 

Power Switch.

Do not attempt to 

override or modify Power Switch. 

noTe: 

5. 

The Snow Thrower has an 

Overload Protector (74) in the Switch 

Box (75) that protects the main circuit 

from short circuit overloads. 
If there is a short circuit, the Overload 

6. 

Protector switch will pop out.   

To reset:

Release the Power Switch and let 

a. 

the Snow Thrower stop and cool for 

a few minutes.
After cool-down period, press 

b. 

the Overload Protector Switch to 

reset Snow Thrower and continue 

operation.

If the Overload Protector Switch pops 

7. 

out again:

Let Snow Thrower cool down for 15-

a. 

30 minutes.
After cool-down period, press the 

b. 

Power Switch to reset and continue 

operation.

noTe: 

8. 

Should the Safety Switch 

regularly pop out, stop using the 

Snow Thrower until it is inspected 

and serviced by a qualified 

technician.
