Clean Lint Bags and Exhaust Blower
Ports
The unit’s lint collection bags and exhaust
blower ports must be cleaned after every eight-
hour shift to maintain efficient operation.
Required Tools
vacuum cleaner
Perform only when the unit is OFF
with power disconnected.
Turn power OFF at the main disconnect
switch.
Remove the lint collection bags (Figure
4-1, A) from both the left and right blower
exhaust ports (Figure 4-1, B).
Thoroughly vacuum out all lint and other
foreign matter from the bags.
For each blower, manually press on the
compressed air cylinder air rod to open the
inner blower door. (Figure 4-2).
Thoroughly vacuum as much lint and
foreign matter as possible from the blower
exhaust ports and visible portion of the
blower wheels.
Manually re-close the inner blower
doors.
Replace the lint collection bags.

Check Safety Equipment
Perform only when the unit is
RUNNING.
Use extreme caution.
The unit should never be operated without
all safety guards in place and all safety devices
working properly.
Check that all six red EMERGENCY STOP
buttons and raising the front access guard bring
the operation of the unit to a complete halt. For
more information, refer to the OPERATING
GUIDELINES chapter, Daily Operating
Procedures section, Start-Up procedure.
NOTE: Repair any faulty safety
devices before continuing to
operate the unit.
