Final Positioning/Easi-Glide
Preparation (Option)
The Easi-Glide (option) (Figure 2-10) offers
motorized support when moving the unit away
from the ironer, allowing operators to feed small
pieces and/or waxing cloths.
Required Tools
hydraulic jack, wrench
Turn on the compressed air supply to the
unit.
Release the discharge conveyor safety
bracket.
Flip the DISCHARGE CONVEYOR UP/
DOWN switch to the DOWN position.
Move the unit into final position in front
of the ironer or folder so that the discharge
conveyor will be as close to the inlet of the
next machine as possible.
Carefully lift one endframe with a jack.
Remove and save the caster closest to the
Easi-Glide wheel.
Lower the endframe and move the jack to
the other endframe.
Carefully lift the other endframe with the
jack.
Remove and save the caster closest to the
Easi-Glide wheel.
Lower the endframe and remove the
jack.
Set the height of the ribbons using the ad-
justment bolt in each discharge extension
arm (Figure 2-9) until the relative posi-
tions are as shown in Figure 2-10.
