Cruise Control
The cruise control can store and
maintain speeds of approximately
40 to 180 km/h. Deviations from the
stored speeds may occur when
driving uphill or downhill.
For safety reasons the cruise
control cannot be activated until the
foot brake has been operated once.
Do not use the cruise control if it is
not advisable to maintain a constant
speed.
With automatic transmission, only
activate cruise control in
automatic mode.

Switching On
Press the
ON OFF
push-lock button.
The control indicator
I
illuminates
white.
Activation
Accelerate to the desired speed and
push the lever down to
SET/
−
. The
current speed is stored and
maintained. The control indicator
I
changes from white to green to
indicate that the cruise control is
active. The accelerator pedal can be
released.
Vehicle speed can be increased by
pressing the accelerator pedal.
When the throttle pedal is released,
the previously stored speed is
resumed.
Increase Speed
With cruise control active, hold the
lever pushed up to
RES/+
or briefly
push to
RES/+
repeatedly; speed
increases continuously or in small
increments.
Alternatively accelerate to the
desired speed and store by turning
to
SET/
−
.
Reduce Speed
With cruise control active, hold the
lever pushed up to
SET/
−
or briefly
turn to
SET/
−
repeatedly; speed
decreases continuously or in small
increments.
Deactivation
Press the
CANCEL
push-lock
button. The control indicator
I
illuminates white. Cruise control is
deactivated. The stored speed is
memorized.
Automatic deactivation:

Vehicle speed is below
approximately 40 km/h.

The brake pedal is pressed.

Selector lever in

The Traction Control System or
Electronic Stability Control is
