ready to install your range hood.

How to Install Your Range Hood

WM-630 USER MANUAL

7

1. Thoroughly Inspect the Unit and Ensure You Are Satisfied
With It

Check your range hood for damaged or missing parts. Plug it
in to an outlet to ensure the fan and lights work. If anything is
damaged or missing, contact the manufacturer to get the
issues solved. Don’t throw away packaging until you’re sure
you are fully satisfied with the product.

     IMPORTANT:

Power the range hood and test all functions

before proceeding with the installation.

If the range hood is

not working properly, please contact us immediately
(1-800-929-0168 / [email protected]).

2. Measure and Mark the Installation Area

Using your pencil, draw a vertical line on the supporting wall,
directly in the center of the area where the hood will be
installed. Draw the line all the way up to the ceiling or as high
as is practical. We’ll call this line X.
Next, draw a horizontal line at a minimum of 24 inches, or
61mm, above the cooking surface. You will refer to this line
later on as you install the hood. We’ll call this line Y.
Then, mark another horizontal line exactly 13.9 inches above
line Y.

3. Place the Chimney Mounting Bracket

Secure the chimney mounting bracket (B) to the wall using the
two chimney bracket screws (CC). Make sure that the top of
the bracket is about one inch from the ceiling or upper limit of
the installation area, aligning the center notch with the vertical
reference line.

5. Mount the Hood

Along the line that is 13.9 inches or 354mm above the
horizontal line Y, install the two hood mounting screws
(AA) along with the corresponding drywall anchors
(BB). The distance between the two screws should be
7.87 inches. Ensure the two screws are parallel to the
horizontal line Y.
Hook the hood body (A) onto the screws (AA) that are
already mounted onto the wall and securely tighten
the screws.
Mount another two auxiliary mounting screws (AA)
with drywall anchors (BB) to finish securing the hood
body (A) to the wall.

4. Install the Glass

Locate the two plastic fasteners on the glass. Check to
make sure they are securely attached.
Then, place the glass on top of the hood body (A) and fix
the glass into position using two screws (EE) from under-
neath with the two plastic fasteners.
Be sure that the glass is firmly attached and does not
move.
