Installing the Docking Port

The Docking Port is the metal hitch that is affixed to the Power Unit and allows the assembled
Companion Unit to connect to the Docking Module using the Companion Adaptor.

Before installing the Docking Port, please attach the Companion Adapter into the Docking

Module of your chair. You will need it to assess the proper position of the Docking Port (see
picture below).

To install the Docking Port, you will need the port and the screws and locknuts from the bag

attached to it.

•

The Docking Port consists of two plates with two pre-assembled axles. The plates are

separated by packaging material to make installation easier.

Do not remove the packaging material separating the two plates of the Docking

Port until after you have completed the installation.

1. Let the Power Unit freely stand on the kickstand.

2. Move the wheelchair so that the Companion Adapter slightly touches the Power Unit

as shown in the picture below.
