Noise
The use of the planting machine does not mean a signifi-
cant increase in the noise levels of the tractor to which
the planting machine is hitched. Check the tractor manufacturer’s manual to decide
which PPE to adopt for hearing protection.
Residual risks
During the design and construction stages, the manufac-
turer has focused particular attention on safety aspects;
nevertheless the risks described below remain.
- Danger of getting crushed or trapped when hitching
and unhitching the work unit to and from the tractor.
- Risk of cuts and shearing between the dispenser (

)
and the dispenser disc ( B ) on each planting unit.
- Risk of getting caught/dragged/trapped by the mov-
ing parts.
- Risk of slipping when getting on and off the planting
unit seat.
- Danger of crushing due to inappropriate lifting of the
machine.
- Danger of getting crushed or trapped when hitching
and unhitching the work unit to and from the tractor.
- Risk of crushing between the skid (

) and the plough-
share ( D ) and between the skid and the skid support
(

) during the skid release/engagement steps.
