Congratulation, you have just purchased a C.E.T. portable pump. If you follow the procedures in this
operation manual, it will give you years of use without any problems.
DESCRIPTION
• Kohler 19 hp, air cooled.
• Centrifugal pump with brass impeller and aluminum casing.
• Mechanical seal and wear ring.
• Stainless steel shaft pump.
• Exhaust priming system, guaranteed up to 20’ (6 meter) lift.
• Two (2) 2 ½” (65 mm) delivery outlet with ¼-turn ball valve.
• One (1) 4” (100 mm) suction inlet.
• Dimensions (30.3’’ x 30.7’’ x 25.6’’)
• Weight: 320 lbs.
• One (1) battery 12 volts.
• Frame with 4 folding handles.
• Discharge pressure gauge and intake pressure gauge.
Your pump comes with a full year warranty on all mechanical components.
DOS AND DONTS
Do…
• Read your Kohler owner’s manual.
• Close your drain valve on the pump casing before starting the engine.
• Seal up any air that could leak into the suction side.
• Charge you battery at least once every three months.
• Stop your pump before fuelling.
Do Not…
• Let your pump freeze up with water in it (drain the casing)
• Allow sand in the suction it will damage the wear ring and the mechanical seal (use floating strainer if water supply doubtful)
• Run your pump dry for more than 2 minutes at idle (prime as soon as possible)
• Run the engine with exhaust closed after the pump is primed
• Use your pump with less than 12 in. (3m.) of water below the inlet of the suction hose
• Allow your pump to run without surveillance
• Run the pump with the discharge valve closed for more than 1 minute
