NewTom 5G series – Patient Table Service Procedures 3-10
The following table includes error codes that could appear on the console display and possible causes /
solutions.
Err. Code Description Possible causes / Solutions
1 Power supply of Hanning boards < 26VDC
40VDC power supply of Hanning boards may be
missing or may not be connected properly
2 Power supply of Hanning boards > 43VDC 40VDC power supply of Hanning boards not be
connected properly.
5 Motor or Hanning pantograph board overheating Wait 2 minutes and try again the movement. If the
error persists, there may be a malfunction of the
pantograph motor or the pantograph is not free to
move.
9 Overcurrent peak output to Hanning pantograph
board There may be a malfunction of the pantograph motor
13 Short-curcuit output to Hanning boards The pantograph motor may be faulty, or incorrect
wiring of the motor power supply: X102, X103, X104
on one of the Hanning boards.
16 Enable external command not present on Hanning
boards May be missing the enable jumper between pins 3 and
2 of X208.
17 Hanning pantograph board movement sequence time
out The Hanning board may be faulty or not programmed
properly or the pantograph motor is locked
18 Error on the start of the movement of the Hanning
pantograph board. The Hanning board may be faulty or not programmed
properly
128 Internal timing error on one of the Hanning boards. The Hanning board may be faulty or not programmed
properly
129 System error of Hanning boards The Hanning board may be faulty or not programmed
properly
131 Reset for Hanning boards error The Hanning board may be faulty or not programmed
properly
132 Reset for power supply change in Hanning boards 40VDC power supply of Hanning boards may have
undergone rapid > 5 VDC

150 XY axes controller board doesn’t send regularly the
status message. The board may be turned off, faulty or CANBUS is not
working properly.
151 Hanning pantograph board doesn’t respond correctly
if cyclically interrogated The board may be faulty, not powered or with wrong
address. CAN may be faulty
152 The Hanning board that control the stretcher position
and handle release doesn't respond properly if
cyclically interrogated The board may be faulty, not powered or with wrong
address. CAN may be faulty
210 ÷ 213 Error during motion started by remote control The system can not reach the required positions or
the movement is stopped before its completition
253 There is a position mismatch between the
potentiometer and pantograph encoder It may not have been carried out a correct
calibration, the Hanning board may have lost some
encoder count or may be an hardware problem to
encoder, potentiometer or wiring.
254 Calibration data stored in the console are not
compatible with the new firmware version just
installed and consequently restored The console board may have been replaced or
updated with new firmware without calibrations
