FIRST USE
OF THE DEVICE :
HIGH OR LOW SALT LEVEL WARNINGS & BACKWASH
For a quick and efficient first use of the device, we advise to set up the machine as follows :
1. WATER CHECKING :
- Check
salt level
(ideal 2.5 - 3 g/l)
- Check
pH
(ideal 7.0-7.4)
- Check
stabilizer
: 40 ppm max
2. GENERAL REMINDERS :
- Make sure the
cell is properly installed on the pipes.
The water must go out of the cell on the same side as the power
cable.
- Make sure the power supply unit is connected on a
permanent 230V plug
(not controlled by the filtration system) and
properly protected (circuit b differential)
- Connect the cell to the power supply unit and switch on the electrolysis cell with the green button on the power supply
unit,
the cell screen must light up
.
- Check that side button
is on 100 %
3. QUICK SET-UP :
- Choose
P9
setting. Press one time on , then press on until
P9
and again one time on .

Start filtration, check that the indicator lamp on left of the screen is on (middle indicator lamp)

Check chlorine production
(some air bubbles may be seen into the cell if water flow is too weak) and check light
is on.
- After several days/weeks, if chlorine production is too low or too high,
adjust filtration
time and/or
n7
parameter of the
cell,which allows to increase or lower production power.
SHORT FILTRATION POWER CUTS :
Warning : short power cuts (less than 1 minute) on the filtration pump or on 230V may lead to default of
the device. This default stops chlorine production but is not harmful to the device.
In case of default message on the screen (E5, E6…), we advise to turn the device off (green button
on the power supply unit) for 2 to 3 minutes and to restart it: if default is one of the above mentioned
cases, this action may be sufficient to cancel the default message, and may allow the device to work
properly again. Check if it works properly after a few minutes.
IN CASE OF BACKWASH :
Turn off the device while backwashing the filter. The device should remain turned off during backwash
(5 minutes).
