Instructions for use
Read these operating instructions carefully before first use. Keep these instructions
for future reference. The device is intended for outdoor use only! Never cover the
stove or gas cartridge with any wind-screens, stones etc. The cooker and / or the gas
cartridge could overheat - potential danger.
Introduction
Gas appliance designed for disposable cartridges with direct overpressure of a
mixture (fuel) of propane and butane. It is intended only for cartridges that contain
liquid propane-butane gas under a constant pressure in the ratio of 30:70 PB. The
cartridge must be manufactured in accordance with EN 417 and equipped with a self-
sealing valve with a 7/16“ connection thread. The cartridges are disposable, it is not
allowed to refill them. It is not permitted to connect this gas appliance to other car-
tridges. Maximum load of this cooker is 2 kg when using a pot or pan with a diameter
of 160 mm. The maximum power of the cooker with the valve fully open depends on
the gas pressure in the cartridge, which in turn depends on the temperature of the
cartridge. The warmer the cartridge, the higher the gas pressure. At temperatures
well below freezing, the liquid gas stops evaporating and operation of the cooker is
no longer possible - this is not a fault of cooker.
Caution
Before connecting the cooker to the cartridge, make sure that the appliance seal is in
place and in good condition.Never use the appliance if it has a damaged or worn
seal. The device may only be used outdoors. The appliance may only be used in a
well-ventilated place where both sufficient fresh air and free dispersion of combus-
tion gases are ensured. The appliance must only be operated on a horizontal sur-
face. Make sure that there are no flammable materials near the cooker. Always store
gas cartridges in a safe place, outdoors, away from any source of ignition, such as
open flames, perpetual flames or electric sparks, and away from people. If you check
the stove for leaks, always do it outside! They do not check for leaks with open
flames! Use only soapy water for leak testing. Never use the appliance if it has a
damaged or worn seal. Never use an appliance that leaks gas, is damaged or does
not work properly. Never leave a lit stove unattended!
Stove handling
Be careful not to touch the hot parts of the appliance during or after use. Keep small
children away from the appliance. Storage: Always unscrew the cartridge from the
device when not in use. Store only in a safe and dry place away from heat. This
appliance is intended for cooking only, it is not permitted to use it for other purposes.
Handle the device carefully. Don't let it fall.
Stove installation
Thoroughly close the gas valve on the cooker by turning its knob clockwise. Keep the
gas cartridge upright. Place the thread on the underside of the cooker (4) vertically on
top of the filling. Carefully screw the gas cartridge into the bottom of the cooker until
the connection is sealed with the cooker gasket. Be careful not to damage the thread
by screwing it "over the thread". Screw only by hand, do not use any tools. Make sure
that the connection between the cartridge and the cooker is tightly sealed. Always
check for leaks outdoors. They never check for leaks with an open flame. Use only
warm soapy water that you apply to the joints. Any leakage will appear as bubbles
around the scattering surface. If in doubt, or if you hear or smell gas, do not attempt to
light the stove under any circumstances. Unfold the cooker support arms to the fully
open position around the burner. Make sure that the burner is free of soot and dirt and
that the support arms can move freely. Make sure that the burner is screwed in
completely. The device is now ready for use.
Stove usage
Always use the cooker only on a flat and solid surface. Open the gas valve by turning
the knob counterclockwise approximately 1/4 cycle or more. Use a lighter or matches
to light the stove until the gas ignites. Adjust the flame size by turning the valve knob.
Do not manipulate or move the stove in any way after ignition. The flame may ignite
when the cooker is not yet hot and / or roughly handled. After switching off the cooker,
always make sure that the valve is completely closed and that no gas escapes.
During operation, avoid boiling the liquid out of the cooking pan, otherwise it will be
damaged or completely destroyed - usually including the cooker. Keep the cooker
under constant supervision during operation. When operating the cooker, keep a
safe distance from flammable materials - at least 0.5 m. Do not place flammable
materials directly on the stove. After use, make sure that the appliance has cooled
down completely and fold the folding arms around the burner.
Gas cartridge replacement
Close the shut-off valve completely. Make sure that the flame goes out and that there
is no other flame in the vicinity. Make sure that the appliance has cooled down
completely. Unscrew the cartridge from the cooker. Install a new cartridge as
described above.
Stove maintenance
If the gas pressure drops, check that there is gas in the cartridge. Always check
regularly that the seal is in place and in good condition. Never use a damaged, dirty
or rusted cooker! The cooker must not be used if the seal is damaged or completely
missing. Never attempt any maintenance or repair other than wiping the cold cooker
with a cloth. Never modify the appliance. This can make the appliance unsafe
