Quick Start Basics
1.
Point the camera at the subject.
The camera will automatically decide where the focus
area should be and display focus frames accordingly.
• If you are shooting with Premium Auto Pro, text will
appear at the bottom of the monitor screen describing
the type of shot the camera has detected.
• You can zoom the image, if you want.

2.
Half-press the shutter button to
focus the image.
When focusing is complete, the
camera will beep, and the focus
frame and the back lamp will light
green.
When you half-press the shutter button, the
camera automatically adjusts exposure and
focuses on the subject it is currently pointed at.
Mastering how much pressure is required for a
half-press and a full-press of the shutter button
is an important technique for good-looking
images.

If the camera judges that CS shooting is required when shooting with Premium Auto
Pro, it will automatically switch to an HS scene, and “
Š
” will appear on the monitor
screen. With the HS scene, the camera will shoot a burst of images and combine
them to form the final image. To avoid image blur, make sure that the camera and
subject remain still until all of the images are shot.
