Printing on a Printer with a Memory Card
Slot
Remo v e a memory card from the camera and insert it directly
into the printer’s memory card slot. Depending on w hat type of
printer yo u are u sing, it also may b e a b le to read the settings
(images to b e printed, n u m b er of copies, date stamping) yo u
config u re w ith the camera’s DPOF settings (page 215). For
details, see the u ser doc u mentation that comes w ith yo u r printer.

Printing on a Printer that Supports
PictBridge or USB DIRECT-PRINT
Yo u can connect the camera directly to a PictBridge or USB
DIRECT-PRINT compliant printer and print images w itho u t going
thro u gh a comp u ter.

The camera’s USB cradle also allo w s easy connection to a
printer. Before connecting to a printer v ia the USB cradle, b e
s u re to perform the follo w ing proced u re first.

Press [MENU].
2.
On the “Set Up” tab, select “USB” and then
press [
X
].
3.
Use [
S
] and [
T
] to select the setting that suits
your printer and then press [SET].
