Normally, the initially selected w hite b alance setting on
the a b o v e men u is the one that w as u sed w hen yo u
originally recorded the image. If yo u u sed the “A u to” or
“Man u al” w hite b alance setting w hen yo u recorded the
image, “Cancel” w ill b e selected (page 132).
•
If yo u select the same w hite b alance setting as the one
yo u selected w hen yo u originally recorded the image,
pressing [SET] w ill exit the w hite b alance adj u stment
men u w itho u t changing the image.
IMPORTANT!
•
Adj u sting the w hite b alance of an image creates a ne w
image w ith the ne w w hite b alance setting. The original
image also remains in memory.
•
W hen yo u display an image w hose w hite b alance has b een
adj u sted on the camera’s monitor screen, the date and time
indicates w hen the image w as originally recorded, not
w hen the w hite b alance w as adj u sted.
Use the follo w ing proced u re to adj u st the b rightness of
snapshots.

In the PLAY mode, use [
W
] and [
X
] to scroll
through images and display the one whose
brightness you want to adjust.
2.
Press [MENU].
3.
Select the “PLAY” tab, select “Brightness”,
and then press [
X
].
•
Note that the a b o v e step is possi b le only w hen there is a
snapshot displayed on the monitor screen.

v ery high, like in the shade of a
