INTERNET MUSIC SERVICES
Listening to Internet Music Services; Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify, and vTuner requires a network and router connected to the
internet. Unlike network streaming audio, your computer(s) or NAS Drives do NOT need to be turned on since it is accessing
the music stream from the Internet and not from your computer(s). However, make sure a network connection to the DMS-
800PV is established and internet access is available from your network.
1.
Press
the
Internet button
on the IR remote or from the Control App
.
2.
Navigate to your preferred Internet music services and follow the prompts on screen or from the Cary Streamer
App.
NOTE:
Due to login requirements of the service(s),
login must be done via the Cary Audio Streamer 2.0
App.
SPOTIFY CONNECT
For Spotify users, the DMS-800PV includes a feature called Spotify Connect.
Spotify Connect allows you to use Spotify’s own
native app (instead of the Cary Streamer 2.0 app) to control and playback Spotify over the DMS. Your smartphone simply
acts as a remote while the DMS accesses the music services stream directly from Spotify
’s servers

Open
the
Spotify app
on your device
and
tap
this icon in the Now Playing Screen.
2.
Select
the
DMS-800PV
and continue to use the Spotify app as normal.
