Screen Saver / Date 

Screen settings can be adjusted from this screen.  
Brightness: The brightness can be adjusted with a slider.  
Screen saver: The screen saver causes the screen to black out – a touch will wake the screen back up. This 

feature can be turned on and off as well as the inactivity duration set. 
Inactivity log out: The log in level can be set to automatically log out after a specified period of duration. 

This feature can be turned on and off as well as the inactivity duration set. 
Date: The date and time can be set here. The time will also be written to the connected NXF4000 or 

PPC4000. 

 

A common error when connecting to a newer NXF4000 or PPC4000 is that the NXTSD507HD or 

NXTSD512HD may be trying to send a date to the control that is outside of the valid range. Newer 

NXF4000 and PPC4000 units must have a year that is 2020 or later. This may result in errors that reference 

the device name, a parameter number and the message “Invalid Parameter”. If the device is named NXF, an 

example of this would be 

NXF.2319 Invalid Parameter

. To correct, simply enter the correct date and 

time.
