Requires belt tension gage that measures tension in belt in units of

lbs force.

Evaporator Coil Metering Devices

The metering devices are multiple fixed-bore devices (Acutrol™)

swedged into the horizontal outlet tubes from the liquid header, lo

cated at the entrance to each evaporator coil circuit path. See

Fig. 61 and 62 for units with standard metering devices and

Fig. 63 for units with Humidi-MiZer

metering devices. These are

non-adjustable. Service requires replacing the entire liquid header

assembly. For more information, see the 50KC04-06 Service and

Maintenance Instructions.

Pre-Start and Start-Up

This completes the mechanical installation of the unit. Refer to the

unit’s Service Manual for detailed Pre-Start and Start-Up instruc

tions. Download the latest versions from HVAC Partners

(www.hvacpartners.com).
