7. Instructions for cartridge
cleaning/ reverse flushing
In case of clogging, please see the
following instructions:
Step 1: Hold the bottom of SIFT+ firmly
and turn the top shell anti-clockwise
to open the filter unit and remove the
cartridge.
Step 2: Gently tap the sides of the
cartridge against the wall to loosen
lumps that may have formed inside.
Step 3: Flip the cartridge with the
‘DOWN’ side facing upwards and re-
insert. Close the top shell by turning it
clockwise.
Step 4: Reverse Flushing- Attach SIFT+ to
a tap/faucet. Turn on the water and step
away from the path of the water. Let the
water flow out for 3-5 minutes. This will
flush out most sediments which may be
clogging the shower filter.
Step 5: Re-insert the cartridge with
the ‘UP’ side facing upwards. Close the
top shell and re-attach to your shower
head/faucet. This should resolve
clogging issues
