Pyxis MedStation 4000 System Console User Guide

Facility power outage

In the unlikely event of a catastrophic power failure, including your facility’s 
emergency power generator, the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) device 
included with the console provides enough power to complete currently 
processing tasks and effect an orderly shutdown of the console.

The console printer should never be plugged into the UPS. If it is, immediately 
turn the printer off and unplug it. When power is restored, plug the printer into a 
wall outlet.
