CAUTION
Carefully read the safety instructions and other instructions.
WARNING
1. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or the manufacturer’s service
agent, or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
2. To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in
water or any other liquid.
3. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and by persons with redu-
ced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
supervised or instructed in how to use the appliance safely and they understand the hazards involved.
Children must not be allowed to play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be
carried out by children without supervision.
4. When the appliance is not in use and before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
5. Keep electrical appliances out of the reach of children or infirm persons. Do not let them use the appli-
ance without supervision.
6. When the fan has been assembled, the rotor blade guard must not be removed again.
– Unplug the fan before cleaning it.
– Do not remove or open the rotor guard to clean the rotor blades.
– Wipe the fan enclosure and rotor blade guard with a slightly damp cloth.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Never insert fingers, pencils, or any other object through the guard
when the fan is running.
2. Unplug the fan before moving it from one location to another.
3. Make sure the fan is on a stable surface when it is running, to av-
oid overturning.
4. DO NOT place the fan by an open window, as rain may create an
electrical hazard.
