Log in, log out, and change passwords

Log in to the printer

This topic contains the following instructions.
1. Access the printer without login
2. Log in with a domain user account
3. Log in with a factory defined user account

Access without login

It depends on the Settings Editor option [Configuration]

[Users]

→

[Configure user login]

→

[Access to control panel] if users are allowed to view and change the control panel options
without user authentication.

[Permission

to view Settings Editor] if users are allowed to view the Settings Editor without user
authentication. When you can view the Settings Editor without logging in, the name

Log in with a domain user account

When there are no configured domains, you do not see the domain selection on the login panel.
When at least one domain has been added, a drop-down list is shown.

Your corporate username combined with the selected domain and the suffix defined for the
domain make the Universal Personal Name (UPN). This UPN is needed to login to the LDAP
directory server.
