On Remote Services
On Remote Services (ORS) is a gateway to remote service with the varioPRINT
6000 TITAN Series devices. ORS provides your dealership with tools and
services that allow your dealership to remotely collect service/meter data and
maintain the varioPRINT 6000 TITAN Series devices.
ORS supports the following functions:
•
Collect Service Data - ORS automatically retrieves the varioPRINT 6000
TITAN Series service data for analysis and troubleshooting.
•
Meter Collection - ORS automatically retrieves the imagePRESS meter
counters for billing operations.
•
Firmware and Software Distribution – PRISMAsync Print Servers
PRISMAdirect and PRISMAprepare can receive updates remotely without
the need for a service technician visit.
•
Remote Device Access - ORS enables your servicing dealership to (once
your customer has granted access) remotely access the device to provide
assistance or diagnose potential issues. TeamViewer and a TeamViewer
client (license required) that will facilitate this process.
The ORS Dashboard allows for the viewing and retrieval of collected meter
data and service data. Additionally, the ORS Dashboard allows for remote
device access (once your customer has granted access) and the ability to view
and manage firmware update options.

To access the Remote Service Dashboard, service technicians must
have an “My Account”. Refer to the Remote Service “How To Guide” for full
details.
