CHAPTER 2 OPERATION OVERVIEW
b. Adjustable wall control
The adjustable wall moves from the home position to a position corresponding to the size
of the stack and number of sheets before saddle stitching starts. When delivery starts, it
moves in the direction of the home position, in accordance with the number of sets in the
stack. Control of the adjustable wall does not depend on detection by the three paper sensors
on the delivery tray. The diagram below shows the positions of the adjustable wall according
to the size of the paper, number of sheets and number of sets in the stack.
