Chapter 2 Getting Acquainted with the Printer

Opening the printer driver from a software application

The example below shows you how to open the printer
driver from Windows WordPad.

1 From the File menu, select Print.

• The Print dialog box opens.

• The procedure to open the Printer

Properties dialog box may be different
depending on the software application that
you are using. For details, follow instructions
provided with your software application.

2 Make sure that Canon S800 is displayed for the Name

of the printer.

• If Canon S800 is not displayed in the Name box,

click the down-arrow and select Canon S800 from
the drop-down list of available printers.

3 Click the Properties button. The Printer Properties

dialog box opens.
