Double Feeding Detection (Option) Control

A double feeding sensor (S009, S010) is available optionally to detect double feeding of 

paper. 

If the double feeding sensor (PS009, S010) mounted on the horizontal path detects double 
feeding of paper, it is judged as being a double feeding jam.
The double feeding sensor (PS009, S010) emits ultrasonic sounds like burst and judges 
whether double feeding occurs or not according to the echo level. The layer of the air 
between double-fed sheets lowers the echo level. When a double feeding jam occurs, the 

sheets preceding the double-fed sheet are fed to the host machine. The double-fed sheet and 

its succeeding sheets are fed to the escape tray via the escape path.
