Documents You Can Fax

For information on the types of documents you can fax, their requirements, and details on loading
them, see Chapter 2.

Flow Of Sending Faxes

The operation flow of sending faxes is as follows:

Step 1

Load the document or photograph you want to send on the
platen glass.

Adjust the fax resolution and scan contrast. (See page 97)

Dial the recipient's number using the numeric keys or directory
dialing. (See page 99)

Press [Set] to start sending.

For a multipage document, load the next page and press [Color]
or [Black].

Press [Color] or [Black].

IMPORTANT

Color sending is available only when the recipient’s fax machine
supports color faxing.
