Changing the Time Zone
Change the time z one to match your location. The default s etting i s
Pari s . In addition, the camcorder i s able to retain the date and time of
another location. Thi s i s convenient when you travel s o that you can s et
the camcorder to match the time of your home location or that of your

Open the [Time Zone/D S T] s creen.
• When you do not u s e the camcorder for about 3 month s , the
built-in rechargeable lithium battery may di s charge completely
and the date and time s etting may be lo s t. In s uch ca s e,
recharge the built-in lithium battery (

274). The next time
you turn on the camcorder, you will have to perform the ba s ic
s etup again.
