Installing the Duplex Unit

The duplex unit is to be installed on the back of the main unit.

Press "

" of the power switch to turn the printer OFF

, then

unplug the power plug from the AC power outlet

Remove all interface cables and the power cord.

Remove the top rear cover of the printer.

As shown in the figure, while pressing the top rear cover from both sides

and

pressing the tabs on the top rear cover

, remove the top rear cover

IMPORTANT

Keep the top rear cover. It is required after the duplex unit is removed.
