Specifications in Dept. ID management
• To manage Advanced Box/ Advanced Space with Dept. ID, select ON for “Main Box” in
“Limited Functions” setting.
Set “Store/Access Files, Fax/I-Fax Inbox” On, in the case of iR ADVANCE 500/400 Series.

Specifications regarding link to Memory Media
• The number of slots for Memory Media differs depending on the model. If multiple partitions
are specified in a Memory Media, it is recognized that multiple Memory Medias are
attached. Up to 16 memory medias can be recognized.
• Memory Media supports FAT32 format only.
• Write-protect Memory Media
Memory media that supports write-protect function is not supported. Writing may not be
successful although it seemed successful.
• Removing Memory Media
If the Memory Media is removed without performing termination process, the Memory
Media (including data) is not guaranteed.
