Training
A. Overview
The imageRUNNER C3100 Series Training Program focuses on both
hardware and connectivity technology. The student will learn, through a
combination of lecture, demonstrations and hands-on labs, the
imageRUNNER C3100 Series technology, maintenance procedures,
diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques. This course will enable each
student to achieve the comfort level necessary to effectively and properly
install, service, and support the imageRUNNER C3100/C3170 Series in both
standalone and connected environments.
B. Certification
Once the technician successfully completes this course, certification will be
provided on the following products:
•
imageRUNNER C3100 Series
•
imageRUNNER C3170 Series
Technicians already certified on the imageRUNNER C3100 Series will receive
auto certification on the imageRUNNER C3170 Series.
C. Who Should Attend
Technicians whose responsibilities include supporting the imageRUNNER
C3100/C3170 Series of products should attend.
D. Prerequisites
The prerequisites for this course are:

Color Connectivity Quest
•
imageRUNNER Connectivity Quest + Basic Color Principles
E. Training Facilities
Training is available in each of the Canon regional offices.

These state-of-the-art educational centers are complete with all the required
computer, network, and Canon products necessary to provide each student
with the highest quality training available.
All classes are delivered by highly experienced Canon Instructors who have
earned their CTT (Certified Technical Trainer) designation as well as industry-
recognized designations such as Novell and Microsoft
certifications.
F. Course Format
The imageRUNNER C3100 Training Program consists of four days of
instructor led lectures, hands on lab exercises, and written examinations. The
student-to-equipment ratio is optimized for the most effective learning
environment.
