Turning ON the Machine

This section describes how to turn ON the machine.

1

Make sure that the power plug is firmly inserted into the power outlet.

2

Open the power switch cover and press the power switch toward " ".

3

Close the power switch cover.

●

The startup screen appears on the touch panel display. Operation Panel(P. 109)

●

You can select the screen that is displayed first after the machine is turned ON. <Default Screen After
Startup/Restoration>(P. 469)

●

The response of the touch panel display and keys on the control panel may not be optimal immediately after
the machine is turned ON.

●

If the machine is connected to a powered off Mac computer by USB cable, the computer may turn on
automatically when this machine does. In this case, disconnect the USB cable from the machine. You may
also be able to solve this problem by using a USB hub between the machine and the computer.
