DOCST Adj of DADF img lead edge margin:1-sided
Details To adjust the margin at the leading edge of the image at DADF
1-sided reading.
As the value is incremented by 1, the margin at the leading edge
of the image is decreased by 0.1 mm. (The image moves in the
direction of the leading edge of the sheet.)
Execute this item when the output image after DADF installation is
displaced.
When replacing the Scanner Unit or Controller PCB/clearing the
Reader-related RAM data, enter the value of service label.
Use case • When installing DADF
• When replacing the Scanner Unit
• When clearing the Reader-related RAM data
Adj/set/operate method Enter the setting value (switch negative/positive by -/+ key) and
press Start key.
Caution Be sure to use DOCSTDUP for the front side at the time of 2-sided
reading.
Display/adj/set range -30 to 30

Supplement/memo Since the front side reading operation differs between 1-sided and
2-sided reading, separate service modes have been prepared to
improve the accuracy.
LA-SPEED Fine adj of DADF image magnifictn: front
Details To make a fine adjustment of the image magnification ratio in vertical
scanning direction at DADF reading.
As the value is incremented by 1, the image is reduced by 0.01% in
vertical scanning direction. (The feeding speed increases, and the
image is reduced.)
When replacing the Scanner Unit or Main Controller PCB/clearing
the Reader-related RAM data, enter the value of service label.

• When replacing the Scanner Unit
• When clearing the Reader-related RAM data
