Symptom

E503-0041 with Optional Professional Puncher Integration Unit-B1

[Case in the field ]

Description

The Error Code E503-0041 is occurring with the optional Professional Puncher Integration Unit-B1

installed.

Confirmed 120 VAC input voltage is present to the 24V DC Power Supply at connector J101. Fuse FU101
on the 24V DC Power Supply is open. Replacing FU101 did not fix the error code. The following images
show the location of the 24V DC Power Supply, FU101 and connector J101 on the rear side of the
Integration Unit.

Confirmed 24 VDC is missing from the 24V DC Power Supply at connector J201 pin 3. Confirmed 2.3
VDC is present at the 24V DC Power Supply at connector J201 pin 1. The following image shows the
location of connector J201 on the 24V DC Power Supply.

Field Remedy

The solution in this case was to replace the 24V DC Power Supply Assembly (FM3-4667).
