The estimated profit margin in the matrix below is calculated based on the
estimated costs (including the burdened hourly labor rate) and the Sample
Pricing. The Gross profit for each sample price is calculated using two
methods for parts cost logic:

Theoretical Maintenance: Based on changing all parts at the time
recommended by the part yield. This is the method recommended by
Canon USA.
•
Practical Maintenance: Mechanically the imageRUNNER ADVANCE
6500 Series is similar to the predecessor models imageRUNNER
ADVANCE 6200/6000. The actual maintenance costs of the predecessor
models were used to estimate the costs of the current model. This may
result in lower labor and part costs.
