Finisher-U2 (Optional)

If a paper jam occurs when using the finisher, follow the procedure described below
to remove the jammed paper.

Press the button on the left cover of the main unit, and open the
left cover.

If you see any jammed paper near
the paper output area, remove it.

If the jammed paper was successfully
removed, further steps are unnecessary.

If you cannot remove the jammed paper,
proceed to step 2.

IMPORTANT

Do not attempt to pull out the jammed
paper by force. This may damage the
machine.

Push down the green locking
lever.

CAUTION

The parts located around the exit slot
guide and the fixing unit are subject
to high temperatures. When
removing jammed paper, take care
not to touch anything in this area
except the lever.
