ISO Speed/Gain
Changing the ISO Speed or Gain Value
1 Open the ISO speed/gain [Select] submenu.

2 Select [ISO] or [Gain] and then press SET.
3 From the same submenu, select [ISO Increment] or [Gain Increment] to select the adjustment
increment to use when adjusting the ISO speed or gain, respectively.
4 Select the desired option and then press SET.
5 HOME screen: Press the BACK button.
Monitoring menu: Press the EVF button twice to close the menu.
• The current ISO speed/gain value appears on the control display marked with an orange selection frame
and also at the top of the monitoring screen.
6 Set the desired ISO speed/gain value.
HOME screen: Turn the SELECT dial to select the desired value and then press SET.
Monitoring menu: Set the ISO speed/gain value using the direct setting mode (
A
73)
.
• The selected ISO speed/gain value appears on the HOME screen and monitoring screen.
Using the Control Dial
You can adjust the ISO speed or gain value using the control dial
on the left side of the camera. The function of the control dial is
determined by the position of the CUSTOM switch next to it. You
can set in advance the functions that are assigned to each
position of the CUSTOM switch.
1 Open the [CUSTOM Switch] submenu.

2 Select [1] or [2] depending on the switch position to which
you want to assign the ISO speed/gain function and then
press SET.
• [1] is the top position (initially assigned to the aperture
function); [2] is the bottom position (initially unassigned).
3 Select [ISO/Gain] and then press SET.
4 Close the menu and set the CUSTOM switch to the
position set to [ISO/Gain].
5 Turn the control dial to change the ISO speed/gain value.

• When high ISO speeds or gain levels are set, the image on the monitoring screen may flicker slightly.
• When high ISO speeds or gain levels are set, bright red, green or blue dots may appear on the monitoring
screen. In such case, use a faster shutter speed (
A
74) or select a lower ISO speed or gain value.
• When the ISO speed or gain level is changed, some noise may appear momentarily on the monitoring screen.
Do not adjust the ISO speed/gain level while recording.
• You can use the
[System Setup]
>
[Control Dial Dir.]
>
[Camera] setting to change the direction of
the adjustment when you turn the control dial.
• When an optional RC-V100 Remote Controller is connected to the camera, you can adjust the ISO speed or
gain value with the remote controller’s ISO/GAIN
