OFF”.

Confirm your settings.

ON: 

When a USB cable is connected, the scanner’s power 
switches ON and OFF according to the computer’s power 
state.

OFF: 

The scanner’s power turns ON and OFF by its power 
switch.

Press [Enter].

The current setting is indicated by blinking square brackets [ ].

Press the [

] or [

] key to select [ON] or [OFF], and 

press [Enter] to accept the selection.

Press the Stop key to exit the User Mode.

About the Auto Power OFF Function

This scanner includes an Auto Power OFF function. When this 
function is enabled, the scanner will turn OFF automatically if no 
operations are performed for 4 hours.
The Auto Power OFF function can be configured in the User Mode. 

(See “User Mode” on p. 77.)

Hint

Depending on your country or region, the Auto Power OFF function 
may be enabled under factory default conditions.
