Turning the Printer Off

Press and hold the power key for 1 second or more.

The "Shutting down..."
message willbe displayed,
and then the printerwill
turned off .

Unplug the power plug from the power outlet.

CAUTION

• When disconnecting the AC adapter from the printer, be sure to remove

the power plug from the power outlet fi rst.

IMPORTANT

• Do not disconnect the power plug until the power has been completely turned off .

• If you will not be using the printer for a long period of time, remove the power cord, AC

adapter, USB cable, and batteries from the printer.

NOTE

• This product has a function that automatically turns off the power when a certain

amount of time passes without printing. For details, refer to

"Changing the Auto Power

Off Settings (Adapter/Battery) (P.162)"
