Unload a take-up media roll from the roll winder

Introduction

When you want to collect the printed output you have to unload the take-up media roll from the
roll winder.

Before you begin

Make sure you have cut the media. For more information, see 

Cut the media on page 145

 and 

Cut

the media (manual) on page 147

.

CAUTION

• Watch your fingers when you handle the media roll.
• Lifting heavy media, 25 kg (55 lb) or more, has to be done by at least two people or with the

help of external lifting tools.

Procedure

1.

Locate the winder on the media output side.

Unload a take-up media roll from the roll winder
