Routine Cleaning

Routine Maintenance

Clean the platen glass and the underside of the platen cover
with a cloth dampened with water, and then wipe them with a
soft, dry cloth.

CAUTION

Do not dampen the cloth too much, as this may damage the original or
break the machine.

Manual Feeder Cleaning

If originals that have been fed through the feeder have streaks or appear dirty, clean
the feeder's rollers.

This procedure is necessary only if the optional Feeder (DADF-L1) is attached.
