<Cause>

The A-H valve sensor did not detect the base position (sensor transmission) within
the predefined time period.
The A-H valve sensor did not detect the base position (sensor transmission) within
the predefined time period when the power was turned on.

<Probable faulty component>

A-H valve unit, sub tank unit, mech. controller, system controller.

<Action>

1. Visual inspection:

Replace components when there are abnormal conditions found in the belt
tension, pulleys, or springs.

2. Cable check:

Replace the cable if the cable check between the mech. controller and the purge
unit fails.

3. Replace the A-H valve unit.
4. Replace the sub tank unit.
5. Replace the mech. controller.
6. Replace the system controller.

: Ink leakage in the ink bottle unit

<Cause>

The ink bottle leakage detection sensor detected ink leakage.

<Probable faulty component>

Ink bottle unit, mech. controller, system controller.

<Action>

1. Visual inspection:

Visually check where leakage has occurred and fix that part.
Replace the ink bottle unit if the leakage occurred at the bottom of the bottle unit.

2. Cable check:

Replace the cable if the cable check between the mech. controller and the ink bottle
leakage detection sensor fails.

3. Replace the mech. controller.
4. Replace the system controller.
5. Replace the waste ink bottle unit.
