5.1.4 Supplementary matter about wireless communication
specifications
The product recommends more than 48 Mbps as effective throughput.
The product is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which radiated RF
disturbances are controlled.
The network where the product is connected is an independent private network including
one or more detector unit of AX-W series (including AX-C4343W), Multi Box and control
PC. The detector units of AX-W series are controlled so that it is always only one of them
capturing image and transferring image information. The other devices cannot operate on
the same network. The wireless access point is set SSID, and it is prevented from
interference with the other wireless devices. The wireless access point is set an encryption
key, and the client (including AX-C4343W) cannot connect with the access point unless
sets the same encryption key.
The measures mentioned above prevent the other devices from connecting to the
independent private network.
The communication is coded in WPA2-PSK (AES) and performs protection from sniffing (a
peek from the outside).
We recommend less than 8 meters to communication distance securing equality of the
radio, and the setting condition demands the following:
• Do not cover the wireless module with wireless shielding components.
• Do not put radio shielding structures between the access point and the detector.
• Do not put radio emitting sources of the non-wireless LAN equipment in the
neighborhood of the detector.
When other wireless LAN equipment works in a neighborhood, we recommend avoiding
interference by channel setting guideline.
5.1.5 Channel setting guidelines
5.1.5.1 Basic guidelines
Check out the channels used in the existing wireless LAN system, and set the channels
without interference. If interference cannot be avoided, select the same channels as the
ones used by the existing wireless LAN system. Fig. 1 shows the above flow to be followed
for establishing the settings.
