FUEL SYSTEM

Throttle Cable Lubrication

The throttle cable must be lubricated
with cable lubricant (P/N 293 600 041)
or an equivalent.



WARNING

Always use a silicone-based lu-
bricant. Using another lubricant
(like water-based lubricant) could
cause the throttle lever/cable stick-
ing or stiffness.

Remove the throttle lever housing
cover.

Remove cable from throttle lever.

3. Throttle body

Install the cable luber tool (P/N 529
035 738) or an equivalent on the cable.
