(b) The required depth “c” depends on how the water hoses, electrical connection

cable, and gas line are installed. The depth “c” must be determined for the

particular situation before installation.

(c) The corners of the rough opening must be at right angles. The exterior wall

opening must be the same dimensions with no rounded corners.

(d) If necessary, create a platform to support the water heater. Below pictures are

some common solutions. Ensure the platform is level front to back, and side to

side after securing to the RV.

Note: This cutout size it can replace the Atwood 6-gallon and Suburban 6-gallon tank water heaters.
