Pour the first SDVB standard into the appropriately sized cup (see TABLE

Position the OBS sensor in the cup as shown in FIGURE

10-second averages of the low- and high-range outputs. Record the 

average outputs on the calibration log sheet.

Pour the standard back into its container.

Wipe sensor with a clean, dry towel to remove residual standard.  

6.

 

Repeat steps 2, 3, 4, and 5 for the other standards.

Perform 2

nd

-order polynomial regressions on the calibration data to get the 

coefficients for converting OBS signals to TU values.
