CRVW3 3-Channel Vibrating-Wire Datalogger

It is possible to use the software to change settings on a

device which are not available within

DevConfig

Configuring a setting incorrectly can cause a device to stop

communicating on the network. Only use this feature with

proper training and appropriate care.

If you use the diagnostic cable (pn 20625) to update the radio

firmware of an RF450 or CRVW3-RF451 device, it must be

configured as a Slave, not the Master. When updating a Master

radio, change it to be a Slave first, load the firmware, and then

change it back to be the Master after the new firmware is working.

11.4 Processing Collected Data

Once you have data flowing into the

LoggerNet

station on a regular basis, you

need to evaluate the quality of the data, analyze the data, and then publish and

deliver it to the appropriate data consumers.

11.4.1 Monitoring Data Influx Using Real-time Displays

You can use the

Table Monitor

Numeric Displays

, and

Graphs

of the

Connect Screen

LoggerNet

to monitor data as it is collected by

LoggerNet

This works for data collected via automatic collection or via

Collect Now

Once connected, use the

Table Monitor

dropdown to select one of the

CRVW3 tables for display. Use the

Num Display

button to open and configure

Numeric Display

monitor. This allows data from more than one table to be

displayed. Use the

Graphs

button to display data graphically with some time

history over the width of the display. For more information about using the

Numeric Displays

and

Graphs

in the

Connect Screen

, refer to the

LoggerNet

manual Section 5.1.

You can also use the

RTMC

(included with

LoggerNet

) and

RTMC Pro

(purchased separately) products to create customized screens for monitoring

data as it is collected. See Section 5.2 of the

LoggerNet

manual for more

details.

11.4.2 Analyzing and Publishing Historical Data

Once data has been collected by

LoggerNet

into .DAT files, it is referred to as

historical

data. You will want to review, analyze, examine, and publish data

that has been collected from your CRVW3 stations.
